Singin after an hour in the decanter. Delicate florals, herbs, fennel, anise, cranberry, cherry, pomegranate, orange peel, cocoa nibs. Seamlessly knit. Something new with every sip. Wish I had more of this. Beautiful wine.

Pretty good for a ‘17, avoiding sharp tannins and astringency. Nose has a lot of forest floor notes, spice, plummy fruit, lots of dry stony gravel. In the mouth it’s soft on entry, and well-managed tannins assert themselves on the back half of the palate. Macerated ripe cherry fruit and crushed stone flavors, with old barrel/old library notes. Medium acids. This will soften further over the next few years but doesn’t strike me as a long ager.

Not too shabby.
Good grip and acids. Needs time in the bottle. Presents with a regal profile. Understated fruit, but finishes with freshness and a hint of sweetness. Excellent potential.

In a good place but starting to show it’s age. Ripe fruits, oak apparent but not in an unappealing way. Cocoa powder, leather, balsamico, molasses and mushroom

At Michael’s Genuine in Miami. Lean, tart cherries. Sub clinical cork issue? Bit mute.
