Vieilles Vignes Chassagne-Montrachet Pinot Noir

2015 vintage. High-toned red fruits tart cherry, fresh cranberry, red plum, lingonberry, with rose petal, potting soil, decaying leaves, nettle notes. Textbook village-level red Burg.

Corked. Bummer. 2009. 2010 was great though.

Beautiful with the bird. Pretty Floral nose. Great finish.

Raspberry, floral, hint of wet earth, bright acid 😋

Fruit forward, but still earthy. Absolutely fabulous.

Good but young. Opened up nicely with air.

Paired nicely with some heavily spiced lamb meatballs. Stood up to them but also pretty mild to drink.
