Last had this about a year ago, and it hasn’t evolved much— which is not a bad thing since it was really good back then. Gooseberry, lime juice, crushed rock dust on the nose. Loads of flavor: a big hit of crisp, tongue-tingling ripe fruit up front, then zingy acids and stoney minerality kick in. Exemplary Sancerre.

Jan 21st, 2023Terrific Sancerre. Deep and lively. Nose has gorgeous crushed limestone dust minerality and mouthwatering lemony acids surrounding ripe gooseberry. Minimal grassiness. Full-flavored and weightier in the mouth than many, it’s got very nice acids to keep it fresh, however. Long, minerally finish.

Muscular Sancerre. Full with assertive texture and a grab you by the balls finish. The nose is tropical and somewhat floral but the palate ain’t messin around.
You can sit on this for a bit or pair with rich seafood.
