Typical Chignin profile of fresh lemon juice poured over mountain rocks. Simple but refreshing, could pass for Muscadet

Great minerality and big ripe lemon. A touch of hay/alfalfa. Very easy to drink now.

A somewhat muted nose, light apple blossom and dried rocks, lemon. Palate is juicy though, fruit driven and still lean. Borderline tropical pineapple, lemon, ripe melon, showing some slight RS.

Just as good the second time around. Big citrus/quince, great acid and an amazing spice.

The spice and minerality on the nose are worth the price of admission.. Citrus and underlying chalk are also prevalent. Great palate, with citrus, spice, stone, kiwi and great acidity. Three bottles left, and wishing I had more.. 11.5 ABV btw, awesome.
