I enjoy a wine on a different level when I forget how it made its way to our cellar.
What a great find.
Drinking beautifully.

A pleasant blend from Barossa, a melange of CS, CF, Petit Verdot and Malbec, resulting in a deep dark color, nose of ripe black fruits, black pepper, black current and cherry, medium to full body, with mild round tannins and pleasant acidity. Over all balanced with a smooth finish. My score 87, drink to 2018

Delectable Blue

Classic left-bank bordeaux in flavour. A real sensory delight. Fresh red plumb and spicy dark cherry on the front palate, with a dark savoury core of tobacco leaf, bay leaf, graphite and wet gravel. But it’s the back palate that really shines. The oak long forgotten, yielding to complex layers of smokey gamey goodness. The tannins fine and silky, the finish long. The wine still vibrant after 12 years. Tastes like it could easily go another decade. Delicious.

Very much like a Bordeaux except slightly lighter.

Cab Sauv, Petit Verdot, Cab Franc Merlot. Almost makes you say, "Shiraz? What's that?"
