Good earth, medicinal cherry fruit, acidic finish, medium dry, interesting funky lingering.

Interesting Cab Franc from Spain, first encounter. Freshness and lift of mature fruits and gravely earth with good finish. Paired well with pulled pork. One more AA7 value.

I thought this might be on the elder side of life but boy was I wrong! The 14 months on French oak helped to hold this wine together beautifully! The fruit is extremely well balanced with a lovely note of the gravelly soils known to the region. We had it with oven roasted salmon topped with lemon & butter & fresh rosemary... Mashed potatoes & haricot verts... Fantastico!

2007 Algibes. Vino de Albacete, Castilla La Mancha. Uva Cabernet Fran varíetal. (padre de Cavernet Sauvignon) Aroma a pimentón y muy perfumada. En la boca: sensación dulce. Para quesos embutidos y carnes exóticas.
