Strawberry marmalade lingers through excellent balance. Hints of minerality before moderate oak tannin.

Second time trying this vintage. High toned strawberry nose, tart cherry attack, leafy slightly vegetal through the middle and finish. Serious.

A little mean compared to the 2010 but could grow up to be the better of the 2 vintages.

09s have been hit or miss for me but man, when they're on, they're on. This is a great example of why: open and dominated by sappy red fruit, wide and giving.

Vineyard now owned by Louis-Michel Liger-Belair and if I had to call my shot, I'd say we'll be talking about it in the same way as we do JF Mugnier Maréchale in 10 years or less. Yep I said it.
