A lot here. Grilled nuts and honey on the nose. Also some kind of spice - fenugreek?- green sea salt, if that makes any sense. A little chewy, but with green/parsley/lime flavors I typically associate with Chablis. Smells soft on opening, but it's got great verve. Intellectually stimulating wine

2010 Blanc. My favorite St. Aubin site for Chardonnay. Such a pure wine with just a touch of intriguing spice. Can't get enough of 2010 Burgs.

Meh…A bit of matchstick. Fruit is muted. Disappointing.

Nice premier cru from St Aubin with just over 10 years age. Was honestly hoping for a bit more overall but this was an excellent pairing with some blackened sea bass. Not okay at all, definite green minerality characteristic that is hard for me to describe. Medium minus acid and the finish isn’t quite all encompassing. But still a nice wine.

I liked this wine, the attack is powerful but falls off quite quickly afterwards. Nice aromas of white flowers and citrus, not much reduction upon opening.

Very nice white burgundy. Neither oaky nor overly restrained. Quite a golden yellow. Intense and mouth filling with deep white fruit and the definite sensation of weight. Good acid on the finish but not electrifying. Nice.

This wine took longer than Castets to reveal itself. It was both tighter and more inherently complex at the outset. In the end, I slightly preferred it. Was like the Sechet to Castet's Forest, to make a Dauvissat analogy.
