Tradition Rheingau Riesling

This youthful wine is all primary fruit - petrol, wet stone, apple, pear, lime, white peach, apricot, honeysuckle, pineapple, wet stone and honey are all there. Where it is a little disjointed is in the sugar-acid balance. At 38 grams residual sugar it is quite sweet for a Kabinett and has screaming acidity for balance. The acid is like a slap in the face and holds the wine back, leaning a disjointed impression. Good quality.

Tasty! Approached tropical but doesn’t quite commit to it. I think i would have ranked it higher if it had.

Tasty, dry Riesling.

Rheingau Riesling at its best. Crisp, and beautiful minerals.

Gold cap. Pineapples and peaches, spritzy but not overwhelming. Minerality all the way through. Swooning over this.

Disappointing. Felt lazy and bit awkward.

Clean, effervescent, medium dry. Great

Spice, lemon, perfume. A bit funky in a good way. Dry. M+ acid and body. Balanced. Lemon with lots of minerality.

Pretty aromatics. Floral, ripe peach, apricot, petrol and great minerality.
Off-dry. Kicked but with some spicy cheese dip :)
