Barsac Sémillon-Sauvignon Blanc Blend

Apricot and honey. Some nice notes but lacking a little energy and definition.

Honeyed apricot, ripe melon, hefty and delicious, liquid gold heaven.

For over 80 years three generations of Dubourdieu’s have produced sweet white wines: Georges (1924-1948), Pierre (1949-1999) and Denis since 2000. Bouquet of ripe sweet stone fruits and sweet floral scents. On the palate peach, apricot and honey flavors adding in some nutty sweet oak encompassed by complex botrytis, "noble rot" fruit. Lingering finish ending with sweet smoky character. Very Nice, best of the vertical I tasted. Tasting Sample!

Slightly tropical, passion fruit, nice acid underneath. A little dense and sweet alongside the others.

Vintage 2001 / beautiful botytrized smell. honey. peaches. hint of apricot. not to sweet, fine, very fine balance. with lots of life ahead. / Partnered with Brabant Blue Cheese.

Doisy is known for its nose and being a heavy dense wine. This wine lives up to that. It was made with 80% semillon and 20% Sauvignon. A slight taste of alcohol. A lot of botrytis with dried apricots.

Vintage 2004 - orange gold, smells like apricot and marzipan, a hint of botytris, silky structure, good concentration. Is this a good choice 😳 on a warm summerday? 😉😀

Really nicely developed. Notes of pecan, pralines, candied. Layers and long finishing

So delicious for a young sauternes. Golden honey, acid, light caramel, and a crisp grapefruit note.
