Hey! At Eataly in New York and ordered this Puglia wine. Earthy, cloves nose. Soft tannins for a 2010 wine. Low acidity. Palate to me is like dark cherry. Relaxing experience.

Smooth. A 12 yr old wine drank very well and with such smooth tannins that I felt like I could drink the whole bottle. Muted dark berries, earth tones, hint of licorice, musty. Well priced and one I would have again.

Jun 26th, 2022Well-made Negroamaro. Balsamic to start, pepper in the finish. The fruit is greatly diminished, likely because this bottle is past its prime, but it still is an enjoyable wine. The nose is still fragrant. A good choice for Southern Italian wine.
