Wow! Super impressed. Never tried these guys wines before, for $15 this Merlot is tough to beat. Kudos to all at Taft Street!

Dark red core and Carnelian rim.
Nose: slightly austere, but I was able to detect hints of fresh, ripe and buttery fruit and framed with touch of oak.
Palate: medium-full, dry, smooth acidity, fine-grained tannins and well-structured. It offered favors of berries and spices, and a long finish.
This is a silky and easy to drink Merlot.
