This was a taster at the end of WOW’s Wine experience. Really easy drinking red, a nice rube hue around the edges. Scents of dark berries and eucalyptus, plus a little touch of new leather. Drinks of tobacco leaf and plum, medium bodied, mostly opened acidity. Good ending to a fun exhibit.

35% Touriga N., 30% Tinta Roriz, 30% Touriga Fr., 10% Tinta Barroca. Viscous, thick tannins and almost non existent acidity. Rich in dried red fruit, almost raisiny with hints of vanilla. M+ finish, a bit liquorice. Too young maybe for its characteristics.

Densely extracted, purple-red. Floral, violet, butter and wood in nose. Plum, cherry, blackberry and chocolate in mouth, black currant finish. Later, earthy. Slight seed tannin bitterness, tactile prickliness and moderate (and increasing with aeration) astringency in aftertaste. North America could use more decent Portuguese reds like this.

Evoked their VP's & LBV ports. That smokey plummy fruit, but more of a creamy/less tannic texture on this one. Fruit is wildly vibrant for an 11 year old. Spaghetti & meatballs/Wednesday night/qpr winner.
