Balanced, but still young needs time to round itself and express more - lighter vintage - still needs to breath before enjoying

Fruit was forward lovely hints of mocha. Enjoyable wine

Little blown but delicious. Flavors of prunes with black tea. Black tea in my port.

Powerful to be sure. Subtle floral notes complement the plummy character on the nose. Smoky palate which complements the mocha & dark fruit. Delicious.

Yep, it's young, but I wanted to see what all the fuss about the 2011 vintage was about. Opened this wine yesterday and it was unremarkable and put it in the fridge. Tonight is a different story. Now it's all pepper and licorice. The palate is meaty, spicy, complex, and balanced. Put some of this in the cellar if you can find it.

My favorite of the port of the day. Would recommend for broad appeal if your guest is not a big fan of port wine.
