Stellenbosch Cabernet Sauvignon

With a nose of dried black currants,
this SA Cab has layers of pomegranate, fig, black olive, tobacco, cacao. The heavy body of this wine is awakened and lifter by the orange zest acidity.
The lingering tannins structure is firm and gripping. Ripe and ready to drink.

Texture and balance for days!! Love it!!

Mouth drying tannin. The red fruit weighed in a little more than the black but was muted overall. Has the acidic backbone to go for another 5-8 years.

A brickish hue of red leading into black are the start of this impressive red. A nose that is complex with smoke, roasted black fruits, walnut and dried mission fig. The aged palate is silky, with strong tobacco dried mission fig and molasses sap.

Big and bold and well blended. Drank it at 5 years old. Black and red berries with subtle notes of cigar and dried herbs. Great with steak.

Very dry with lots of black fruit on the nose. Fruit forward with some herbal notes and spice and oak in the finish. Pairs well with cheese but not blue cheese.

Again lovely wine, running out of my gems I have been saving😢
