I was expecting more acidity. It was nice and fruity. Golden delicious apples, overripe bartlet pair, cantaloupe, shiro plums that have gone a bit over. Would have to reach for non-fruit notes. Lacks complexity. Comes off a bit sweet, but I really think that is due to the lack of vibrant acidity tricking my pallet. It's quaffable, and would be a great Chardonnay to trick a Rombauer Chard drinker into trying an unoaked version of the varietal, but leaves something to be desired in depth. But hey, it's Barossa Chardonnay. If you want top-notch Aussie Chard, look to Victoria, in the Macedon ranges, where Bindi makes mind-alteringly fantastic Chardonnay. But you're going to have to pay for excellence.

Big fruity nose, backed up by full flavoured palate, without oakiness.

Silky smooth Chard with light acidity. I'm sort of meh towards many unoaked Chards, but this is one of the better ones I've had recently.
