Light yellow gold, looks young in the glass. Great nose from the start. Notes of lemon and crushed stone, some earthy notes and a little vanilla. Rich and powerful in the mouth. Palate staining acidity with a long and satisfying finish. Love this wine. Great QPR.

Light gold and nice weight in the glass. Awesome leesy and fruit forward nose. Notes of citrus, river stone, tan spice, apricot and some whit flowers. Intense and impactful in the mouth. Luscious flavors balanced with fine grained acidity. Great showing.

Straw gold. Light on its feet. Notes of lemon, sweet citrus, gravel stone, white flowers and a little honeysuckle. Fruit forward at first and over time. Pretty good.

Another good showing for the 04 lineup from chez B Morey... medium gold, nice weight. Leesy citrus nose including notes of tan spice, wet stone and a hint of petrol. Great mouth feel and finish. In a perfect drinking window and at peak. Paired well with all the fish dishes we had at Flying Fish Grill in Carmel.

Pop and pour. Light gold. Nice fruit forward nose. Notes of citrus, chalk, light dry soil, some apricot and some white flowers. Vibrant in the mouth. Coating finish. Should have given this more air as it got better before it was gone too soon.

Medium gold, heavy weight. Quiet nose at first but with air developed notes of lemon, chalk, apricot. Very rich. Gobs of fruit but with good acidity to give it some backbone. Not great but a solid showing.

Light straw color. Great nose with lemon, wet river stone, clove, and pit fruit. In the mouth it's very rich; then the acidity builds after a few hours of air, but never quite matches the rich fruit. Nice quaff though on a Sunday afternoon summer day.

Classic expression of what the 96 vintage should be paired with butternut squash soup at solbar in Calistoga !

Great young white burg. Light gold in glass. Medium weight. Lemon curd, river stone in the nose. Very nice in the mouth. Glycerol and palate staining. Better than expected showing.
