42% Syrah, 33% Cabernet Sauvignon, 25% Petit Verdot. Fairly deep- I recommend decanting or waiting. Certainly a nice combination of flavors, and while fairly ripe, the fruit is not overpowering by any means.

How do you not love the wines of a crazy Frenchman who traveled the world to find best terrior to blend the varietals he wanted to grow, only to settle in Paso Robles. Here we have his masterful and unusual blend of syrah, cab and petit verdot. The nose is rustic, olives, leather, blackberry, tree bark, morning dew. The wine is light and silky, but rich and voluptuous, the syrah pepper sneaks up on you, lively acids that are just balanced by the fruity cab, and then you realize cab and syrah are fascinating together. And of course it all makes sense, Paso is one of the only wine growing regions in the world where you can actually grow both. Nice job, you crazy Frenchman, this wine is a win and I'm glad I'm in your club.

Silky tannins, nice backbone from the Petit Verdot.

Bright syrah character, a little meatiness and earthy character. Big gripping palate, sneakily high alcohol, can definitely develop w some age

Went well with a Tomahawk steak. Gamey, fleshy with fruit forward red currants.
