Probably needed a little more time to open up than I gave it. Very solid showing but presumably would have benefited from an extra hour+ in a decanter.

Deep rich color, chocolate covered cherries on the nose. On the palate, shows an appropriate age, but then falls off with the aftertaste of harsh alcohol,rough tannin and well worn leather. Interesting showing three age types in the glass.
