About as good as Grenache gets in CA. Lovely juice but I wish it had just a touch more stuffing.

Wow, super intense aromas. It reminds me of grape bubblegum candy and blackberry extract. On the palate, all of the synthetic qualities disappear, leaving only a slightly, delicately oaked wine with great acid and clean black berry fruits.

A cooler climate for Grenache which gives it a lightness on its feet and an attention to detail that you don't often see.

Very pretty, austere Cali Grenache. Underripe strawberries, nettle.

This still has a HUGE nose for a natural Broc, tart cherries explode out of the glass, with notes of pomegranate and fresh cut grass. Hardly any bricking, with sustained color and still a prominent acidity on the nose, with subtle florals and pepper. The palate is smooth, medium bodied, with hints of Burch and prominent ripe red fruits, with a slight raspberry breath on the finish. Kind of short, but still solid for 10 years old. Surprisingly still lithe for a Broc!
