Entry level Pinotage. Love this varietal. Thick purple red. Black fruit aromas, flavors of boysenberry, mulberry, milk chocolate and wood toast, as advertised on the label. Almost chewy tannins for sure. Ok acid, almost light on alcohol given the abundant tannins. Nothing fancy but a solid table red for your everyday needs. Good value. Flavors drop off after 24 hours, so drink up early.

Only my 2nd Pinotage. Not as good as the other one I had but okay. Medium bodied, very fruity on the nose, a little acidic at first but opening up nicely. The best thing about this wine is that when you buy it you make a contribution to the conservation of the African “wild dog”.

Damn good table wine. Strawberries and slightly sweet. Not much but it’s there.

Found this easy to drink and decent. Enjoyable enough to buy again.

Thinner than a good Cabernet. Spicy and pairs good with lamb.

Pairs best with a scented candle outdoors on a crisp autumnal Tuesday & depression. Wet pepper nose with dank fruit notes on the backsplash.

A tasty red. First time trying a pinotage and I'll definitely be trying more in the future.
