Dark berry fruit aromas with juicy spice notes. Flavors of blackberry and cherry with pepper, oak and cacao. Firm gripping tannins, medium ending on the spicy side. Drink now, no aging potential.

Color of dark purple with dark ruby and a bit brown hue. Nose is pretty nice with oak, black cherry, vanilla, aldehyde, and tobacco leave. Taste is silky yet dry, just a tiny bit sweet, with soft tannins, some more dark fruits like cherry notes, some more vanilla, and tasty. Aftertaste shows milky mouthfeel, some more tasty note, and addition of mineral and rustic metal note. Pretty good find.

Ruby hue with high saturation. Aromas and flavors of blackberry, blueberry, cassis, cedar, cherry, licorice, oak, plum, vanilla, and violet. Medium body; heavy, firm tannins; and medium-high acidity. Inviting on the nose, and bold on the palate. Bold and structured wine suitable with grilled meats and barbecue.

Not good. Poorly balanced. I like dry wines, but this is just boring. No acidity or tannins to enjoy. I think the oak is supposed to make it pop, but I’m not a fan of oakiness, and this just doesn’t work.
