Love this wine, showing a some more tertiary development and integration since LBT. Delicious

We wanted a red to go with both a burger and duck breast, and looked what popped off the list at Bol! Half old mourvèdre balanced with grenache and syrah, it's still very young but also well-balanced and fresh. It needs another 5 years cellaring to really blossom, me thinks.

Half Mourvèdre, super fresh and dark. Love the style.

Deep dark fruits that land pleasantly on the palate but finish somewhat lopsided as the acidity, tannin and fruit grapple for attention. The wine transitions awkwardly but really did well with food.

Stewed blackberry and raspberry, roasted plums, tobacco, spice, vanilla, stones and earth. Dense, rustic, high alcohol, but approachable now. Stem inclusion (30%) comes through on the finish. Lots of complexity and fun.

First vintage with Gassier including Mourvèdre whole cluster - brighter red fruit than 2010.
