A very light version of a ripasso. Lacks the body and texture but the flavour is agreeable. I'd rather drink a full Malbec that didn't jump through the baloney appasimento hoops.

Apassimento style Malbec/Corvina blend. Wins points for trying to do something different, but I think it falls a little short. Black cherry, dried meat, fresh violets, with a little bit of mocha. Medium bodied and a bit hollow on the mid palate.

Unimpressed with this every time I've had it, nice idea with those two grapes but always way too much new oak covering up obvious high yields and young vines. Like biting into a 2x4 on palate, yuck.

Malbec is back. Chocolate, black fruits, a bit green in the beginning. Nicely done and tasty.
