Ruby purple? Maroon red? It’s pretty. And pretty dark. Smells like jam and pencils. Flavor is fine. Smooth and easy drinking. Plenty of cooked berries and cherry jelly. The second day it has more depth. Something savory. Olives? Say sweet olives. It’s got a classic old vine Zin finish. Jam, jam, jammy. It’s a decent Zin, better than Sutter Home, fat from a Sobon.
