A cherry, a leather and a vanilla. It's a good wine. Nothing to remember, but good in the company. Does not distract from the conversation. :)

Sipping Fine Wine

From organic grapes. Aromas of sweet fruit and spicy notes. On the palate simple flavors of raspberry and cherry with black pepper spice. Fine tannins, medium finish ending with savory spice.

Really tough to find Total Wine Winery Directs that are good. Canneto is better than most in my opinion. This young Rosso is medium red, clear, and transparent. The nose initiates with fresh beets and it follows on the palate, alongside vegetables. Also a faint hint of petroleum. The finish has medium plus tannins. Good not great.

Steady, well balanced and young Italian red. Pair with a meal to bring out the best now - but let this one sleep a bit and check back in later: this one needs some aging. Right now it’s a bit astringent and sharp alone, mellows out with a nice red meat meal. Should be much much better later!

Holy shit I needed that! Serve chilled and pour in small little doses you can swirl, sip, and savor. Taste an earlier grape variety. Underrated , I think.
