A Gorgeous 6 years old Shiraz from Washington state.

Dark ruby with a dark brick/orange rim.

Aromatic nose with blackberries, blueberries, plums, green pepper, oak, chocolate, wild flowers, licorice and peppercorn.

Medium to full bodied and smooth on the palate.

Dry and Fruity on the palate with blackberries, plums, cheries, wood, dark chocolate, tobacco, coffee, smoke, spices and black pepper.

Long finish with soft round tannins.

This is an inexpensive wine that I kept for a few years to see how it ages. Had the 2007 a few months ago, and this one was better. Probably at its peak right now.

13.5% alcohol by volume.

Smells awful and the taste is even worse. This might be the worst wine that hadn’t gone bad I’ve ever tasted. Hits the palate like razor blades. Skunk juice.
