Mendoza Malbec

Dark ruby in color with a wide red rim.

Fruity on the palate with raspberries, cherries, strawberries, cranberries, coke, vanilla, red currants, licorice, spices, herbs, wood, earth and peppercorn.

Medium-bodied with medium plus acidity and long legs.

Fruity on the palate with blackberries, black currant, tart cherries, strawberries, plums, earth, licorice, cloves, light vanilla, wood, pencil lead, bitter herbs and black pepper.

Tart finish with soft tannins and tart cherries.

This four-year-old Malbec from Mendoza, Argentina, is on its way out.
Simple and unbalanced, still entertaining by itself, but better with food.

13.5% alcohol by volume.

One dimensional fruity wine

Not very good, not awful just not anything special. Kim of flat and lacks depth. Wouldn't buy again.

Very big bite in the back of the throat. Nuanced dark and rubber mellow jam flavors.

Smells pretty cheap, but I didn’t hate it, and at $10, I guess that’s all you can ask.

Husband really likes this out of all the Malbecs he has tried. Found at Publix. Good low price .
