Cerise produced a heavier bodied Pinot than most of Saintsbury's other vineyards. The nose hinted at a heavier alcohol content and had a nice suede note.

Little fruit but structured, very nice, but getting a bit pruned.

Nice wine. On the backside of its life but drinking well. Muted nose and fruit waning but raspberries and eucalyptus n the palate. More like burgundy than American Pinot.

Not the most concentrated Pinot by saintsbury. The fruit is all but gone here and not replaced by secondary characteristics. Light cherry and fig remain
