Black Label Coonawarra Shiraz

I just prefer Wynns Cabernet to their Shiraz. Quite oaky at this young stage and would appear to have been picked quite ripe like the flagship Shiraz The Michael. Not showing the pepper one often gets from Coonawarra Shiraz.

Big, long finish with ripe blackcurrant and raspberry flavours. Fruit could be fresher, perhaps a bit flat.

Smooth with minimal spicy after drink, good smell and nice for everyone

Very round, medium bodied, with great fine tannic structure. There is a slight minty/eucalypt note that is also in the Cab. Deep and pure but fresh.

Very well balanced and controlled. Sweet dark fruit with a savoury edge. High acid and prominent but integrated tannin. GV

Still developing well and more likely it will improve further
