Red cherry and leather, followed by just a bit of tart acidity and medium tannin. Good right out of the bottle, maybe even more so then on night 2. Although still good.

Smell: manure, straw, slight maple, raspberries. Taste: smooth, woody, slight coffee & spice. Moderate tannins, well balanced alcohol, lingering acidity. 2010 tasting, unsure on vintage.

Medium bodied and smooth with sour cherry, plum and herbs. Not worth the $20 price tag but glad I only paid $12.
