A pleasant and fruity Rioja with a deep red color, nose full of blue berries, black berries, black current, black cherries and a hint of espresso, medium body with round tannin and good acidity, not overly complex yet pleasant and easy to drink, my score 83, drink to 2018

Upon opening a tad dusty with fig, vanilla, cured meat and sour cherry on the nose. Equally sour cherry on the palate with cedar and tobacco. A medium length wine, balanced towards acidity. After a period of opening more life came into the wine with additional complexity so I had to revise my initial opinion. Very good at the price.
