"Odedi"

Dark ruby in color with a red/ brick rim.

On the nose, blueberries, raspberries, cherries, licorice, spices, cloves, light vegetables and black pepper.

Medium plus in body with high acidity and nice legs.

Dry on the palate with cherries, strawberries, pomegranates, oak, licorice, cloves, earth, vegetables, leather, leaves and peppercorn.

Medium plus in finish with fine grained tannins and tart raspberries.

This is a simple red wine from Campania, Italy. Showing some complexity on the palate, and a soft mouthfeel.

A good food wine, and not one to have by itself. The bright acidity pairs it well with pizzas, or pasta with red sauce.

I didn't like it at the beginning, but it grew on me.

I paired it with Pasta Bolognese.

13% alcohol by volume.

83 points.

$17.

Once it opens, nose resembles Barolo with a tart cranberry finish.
