Very well balanced and well done aglianico. Ripe plum and red currant, some raisin, good acid.

Pretty, lots of aromatics and plenty of acid and tannin to boot. These wines need time, but they're definitely worth seeking out.

Hhhmm, 6 years is not enough judging from the other reviews. A bit rough. Barnyard, earth, and tannins. Tongue stuck to cheeks... one of the other reviewers said Bandol-like, and I can agree with that.

12 years has certainly smoothed out all the rough edges. Bold, tobacco leaf, dark fruits, volcanic earth. Great producer!

Quite a bit of funk and earth, brambles and dark fruit. More weight than expected. Perhaps a bit more time in bottle or decanted. Called for some food to provide some balance.

Firm yet pretty. Floral and plummy. Rustic and minerally. Unbelievable with fried chicken. The structure aglianico provides continues to blow me away. Sleeper grape
