Medium ruby. Pretty complex nose. Ripe strawberry, raspberry, dried red cherry, cedar box, tobacco leaves, graphite, liquorice, nutmeg and sweet spices. Medium+ bodied, medium+ acidity, nice palate attack with lots of dried red fruits even jam and sweet spices. Sweet finish which I'm not a fan of this kind. Overall good value Rioja (14.99), much better with foods. 13.5% alc. 2011 vintage

Love it on the nose. Let it breathe a little. It’s a little sweet at first, but breathing really helped. HLSR 2019 Wine Garden.

Nice and fruity on the nose, very distinctively tempranillo. This wine really needs decanting - a lot of air - it took 2 hours+ to come into form. It has a pretty watery mouth feel on the palate, which is downside, and it doesn't pack much punch in the mid-palate. The flavor is subtle & wonderful on the other end though, really satisfying finish with some spice.

A 2001 bottle. A smooth finish, but not a flavorful end. Could been the bottle, Cork shows leakage of wine.

Very tannic at first. Needs about an hour or two to breathe and open up. Then the fruit shows and it is quite nice.
