Always great. Opened this and was big out of the gate still. Not too much. Put it in the fridge overnight. The next day it drank beautifully. Smooth and balanced with ripe fruit. Great wine!

Awesome nose of blue, dark fruit and pipe tobacco. These Herman Story wines just get so much better after five or so years. The time for the alcohol to resolve itself really counts. Love it.

All the typical Grenache notes and this one I think is peaking. Nice.

Herman Story wines are cult, try them if you can hold of rhem. This grenache is a full body and aromatic wine that shows the Quality you Will find in all of the Story line. Can be krog for 10-15 years in the celler but i do not Think that Will be the case in my Home

Excellent tasting with Chris!

Mix of ruby and garnet red. Elegant nose with cinnamon, purple flowers, roses and darker berries. Strong acidity and warm mouthfeel. Medium tannins (6.5/10) and medium plus bodied. Darker on the palate than the nose with notes of blackcurrants, cassis, and nutmeg. Medium plus finish. Made of 100% Grenache. Fruit comes from 9 coastal vineyards. Drink from 2018 till 2024.

Killer perfumed nose. Molasses, prune and summer flowers. Prune, raisins and bacon fat. Wonderful.
