Light ruby in color with a light red rim.

Nose of cherries, raspberry juice, earth, spices, smoke, peppermint, dirt and peppercorn.

Medium bodied with medium plus acidity and long legs.

Dry on the palate and tart on the attack, with raspberries, strawberries, earth, leather, cherries, spices, pomegranates, graphite, peppercorn and oak.

Tart finish with soft tannins and tart cherries.

This Chianti Classico is simple and unbalanced, with a thin mouthfeel. Much better right out of the bottle, as It becomes very acidic as it opens up.

Drinkable, but better with food. I paired it with Spaghetti and meat sauce.

13% alcohol by volume.

Nose is soft and ripe, violets and fresh baked goods, strawberry and earth. The palate is more tart than I expected - fresh raspberry juice comes to mind - accompanied by a subtle earthy richness. Finish is bright and simple. Not a bad Classico but wouldn't buy it again.

‘Dry Red Wine’ it says on the back. Great! Heavy bottle. Must be a wine to age. Hope 4 years is enough. Hints of pie cherry and mineral water on the nose. Also rocks. Wet and dry rocks. It smells good. Balanced and inviting. Flavors are lovely. Dried herbs, tart berries, smoked blood oranges?, wild thyme? Lots of stuff. Clean and smooth. Tannins are nice. Dry but not drying. It’s a very nice Classico. Hit the spot with the classic spaghetti marinara too.

Good, inexpensive Chianti.

I'd order it again.

Nice to taste a nearly 100% Sangiovese Chianti. Tastes young and great with food. Not immensely complex, but definitely wonderful with Italian food.
