Thanksgiving day three 11/25/17. Blind tasting vs Guigal and Crozes. Lots of barnyard funk and a bit of heat and black fruits and meats and long finish. Thought it Colombier due to funk. Best value at Acker 6.

Nov 26th, 2017Deep ruby color and aromatic nose with blueberries plum and definite notes of barnyard funk. Soft silky texture and tannins and touch of well balanced sweetness with pepper notes and floral finish. Great value at Acker 8. Approachable but not vapid and a good food wine or for sipping. Vintage not indicated but significant sediment. Says lot 11. 97 Syrah and 3 Viognier. 12.5 ABV.
