This is clearly the best value for money in this price range. I had to search high & low to find this. Wegmans carries it. A little more Tannic than the other Pinot's in this price range -- very nice!

Solid PN - wanted something dependable & this fit the bill. Baby Sonoma style, big extraction w/tons of fruit & secondary flavors - varietally correct. Fairly big, lush & smooth on palate thru lingering finish. Hard to find fault - particularly @ <$20

Pinot noir 2012

Light ruby red in color with a white rim.

Medium bodied with fat legs.

Fruity on the nose with blackberries, cherries metals, earth, cloves and black pepper.

Fruity on the palate with blueberries, plums, cherries, pomegranate, herbs and spices.

Medium length finish with soft tannins.

Usually, I do not enjoy Pinot Noir at this price point, but this was ok.

At a blind tasting I would guess this is a light, inexpensive cabernet.
As it opens up it loses some of the characteristics I like, and becomes tart.
Had it with steaks on the grill.

13.9% alcohol by volume.

Not as robust as other SB County wines I've tried. Wouldn't get again.
