Did not give it enough space, time, and complimentary foods to say that we gave it due respect. It was on the lighter minimal side with a touch of masculine intensity for the first hour and a half but if it's anything like the lieu dit Marsannay it could take a while to open.

Really liked this Marsannay... the second day. Shy and short on the first day, outgoing and in full colour on the second. Lots of deep red fruit, enticing, fine finish. 'Cuvée de village'; a blend of the terroirs of Couchey, Chenôve and Marsannay.
