Cuvée Speciale Louise Brut Champagne Blend

Bright yellow gold with persistent, tiny fine bubbles. Abundant and inviting nose of rope yellow apple and navel orange. Medium palate confirms the nose adding hints of mineral and toasted brioche. Acidity is still strong 18 years on making this an excellent sparkler for a starter or with a lighter greens and seafood meal. Still vibrant, but start to drink it now through 2030.

Open this in honor of my late mother Louises birthday ... always wanted to try this with her and never made it happen but very special and appropriate homage to her. Definitely give this one time to open up and reveal itself! 

Lunch with Wineaux. Bottle 2, and even better than the ‘02 Lanson. Perfect dosage and balance.

Full body, elegant and rich, with great fresh acidity. Long luxurious finish.

From magnum. Very fresh and alive. Good lime acidity. Not showing any age at all.
