Sipping Fine Wine

A blend of about 40 crus from the Champagne region, with Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier, and about one-third Chardonnay, aged for almost 3 years. Fresh vibrant champagne, fruit/floral bouquet, w/chalky minerals. Fine bubbles, nice mousse, rich flavors of peach, lemon and honey, well balanced, good structure, creamy. Long finish ending with yeast & mineral notes. Very consistent quality.

Nose: toasty wool is abundant, slight burnt sugar cane and lemon with green apple crushed pebble minerality.
Palate: under ripe pear and green apple skin, lightly candied lemon with wet stone/slate minerality. Finishes clean with great acid.
I like this a lot, i think this bottle had some age on it. It had a nice golden color with a vinous nose. Pleasant for sure!

This bottle has some age on it as evinced by the deep gold color and the quickly dissipating mousse. Toasty brioche and dried apples on the nose, echoed on the rich palate. Tiny bubbles enhance the still firm acidity making this an excellent companion to… pork ribs! Happy Champagne Day, all!

Crisp and floral very delicate and quick dry finish. Slightly sweeter and easy to drink.

I believe this half bottle is from an older lot than Brut Royal I have tasted recently... And that is a good thing. Toasty, rich big house stuff.
