This isn’t an awful wine. It doesn’t taste like PN at all. It’s Lodi PN, so it’s big and cola-like. There’s also 10% Petit Verdot, so there’s really no Pinot Noir varietal flavors at all to it. I don’t really know who would have use for this wine. Apothic drinkers, probably.

A really solid Pinot noir for the price. Heavy oak presence but integrated. Creme brûlée and acid, berry and red fruit. Balanced and well made, especially for Cali PN.

2016 on 1/15/18. Nice pleasant fruit forward Pinot for the price. Not complex, no long finish, but for the price very nice.
