Looooooove this wine. Nose of strawberry, tobacco, and cocoa. Faint fennel/dried leaves in there too. On the palate, it's toasty, robust, and layered: blackberry, cassis, and smoke.

Ballsy Cab. Big fruit and nice balanced French oak. Too much tannin alone but would make a great food wine. Would definitely recommend this for future consumption.

Opened it early, but we definitely could have let it sit for another year or two. Still delicious, once it opened up
