@Melissa Kinney said it best when describing the powerful aroma profile, 'Its like sticking your head into a bag of fresh seasoned beef jerky!' Amazing aromatics on this New Mexico Cab Sav. This wild west wine undergoes a 14 month maturation with exposure to 7 types of new French Oak. Slightly sour finish but overall a very compelling experience. Would recommended to anyone interested in trying something off the beaten path.

It was okay. Nothing to get excited about. Slightly oxidized aromas didn't help. Acidity was a bit bracing, but otherwise a fruit bomb. So ends my foray into NM wine—not impressed.

Has a nice spice. Holding up fine although has lost some fruitiness.

Odd flavor for a Cabernet. Incredibly jammy thick sweet on the mid-palate with little finish. Not great.

Gentle oak finish, medium body, smooth tannins. As good as a left bank Bordeaux Superieur. 18.69

A definite taste of dirt. Better the second day after "breathing", but probably not something to buy again.

Vintage matters with this one. One of my favorite cabs. 2012 is best. 2011 is good. I didn't much like any other vintage yet. Nice Oak taste. Barrel aged.

Velvety and chocolatey with hints of leather. Bold on the tounge with a super smooth finish.
