A nice drinker, nothing fantastic but I don't expect much from a Dolcetto. Balanced acidity w/ silky tannins. Cherry bomb nose with exceptional smoothness. A wine you can't feel bad about opening just to drink with your dad.

One of the 20 bottles Dad gifted for Christmas. First one I opened and sipped two glasses solo at home. Light and fruity with a mild berry lingering on the tongue. Enjoyable sans food although it makes me want to snack. Sweet and enjoyable.

Upon opening, it has a grape jelly aroma. I think I picked this up at Trader Joe’s so I wasn’t expecting a whole lot. It is a pretty light red and remarkably drinkable almost chuggable on a weirdly cool August evening. So, actually very good. Similar to a Pinot Noir or a Gamay.

Elegant nose. Floral rose with a softness. Flavor is more rose petal with fruits and a nice balance. Lovely red color. A good affordable vino de Italia.

Sangria without the bubbles. Heavy cherry nose with lilac spritzer. Smooth and comfy just to sip. No instructions needed. Makes a cigar even better.

Subtle Red. Enjoyable. Not too aggressive with tannins. I used a Vinturi for this tasting and found a hidden sweetness to the finish

Fair wine, deserves even a but more than 3,5✨, it's all about cherries nose and its soft silky body. Mild spicy aftertaste - but it's really mild and in harmony with fruitiness, acidity and soft tannins. It's not sweat - believe me I usually prefer dry wines and like this bottle of Dolcetto d'Acqui very much.
