Just had to try this delicious wine again. From Liguria on a long crescent-shaped sliver of mountainous coastline ranging from the French border in the west to that of Tuscany in the east. Pale lemon with pronounced aromas of stone and tropical fruits, spending 4 months on its lees. On the palate flavors of apple, melon and citrus zest, crisp with lively vibrant acidity and mineral notes. Medium+ finish ending with a spicy flinty character. Nice!

Consistent notes from my last experience, exactly 365 days ago...Such unplanned timing!

Nose has fresh papaya, freshly washed lemon, under-ripe white peach and cold butter or candle wax.

Palate has waxy yellow apple, coconut, white mushroom, fresh sage and light green herbal notes, faint peppery finish.

I wish I had more patience, or looked at my notes before opening another bottle, oh well. This wine would appreciate another 5 years, drink future bottles at around 2023+.

Palate has yellow apple, coconut, button mushroom, fresh sage and light green herbal notes, faint peppery finish.

I'd love to see this wine at 5-6 years of age, pretty interesting bottle now, likely more so in a few more years.

Single Vineyard Pigato. Stainless steel. Interesting and delicious. A real throwback.

Continues to be one of my favorite Ligurian whites. Paired with: prawn, charred pineapple, coconut, fingerlime
