Despite being light bodied, this is not thin at all but but luscious and silky textured and just a hint of tannin. Also present are some salty, earthy minerals, and a subtle bitterness. Satisfies all my cravings for bright, food friendly wine without a hint of funk.

Light red. Tart cherry bathed in acidity. The perfect red for light fare. Or just for sipping. Punta Crena folks are making some beautiful wines that you don't have to think about. But you always want that next glass. 2014
