Château de la Rivière
Fronsac Red Bordeaux Blend
Very earthy, ok for the price, ($15) but lacking depth and brightness.

Oct 12th, 2022Opens with these deep, dark plum, black olive and tar notes. Softens with air to blackberry with subtle mint aromas. Round, plush, and fairly one dimensional on the palate with dark black fruits. A little warm but still balanced with acid. Solid QPR, and super interesting nose. Drink now

Aug 31st, 2022A relatively light red fuits frame for a Fronsac. Mineral and fresh. Some anise and menthol hints. Nice and balanced, but far from being memorable.
