A wine from an era long gone at a pioneering CA winery. Wonderful body, texture, brambly wild dark berries, chanterelle mushrooms and Santa Cruz Mountain spiciness. Still has the Glad I have a few more bottles of this. It's been a year since last tasting.

Dried berry and dried flowers. Still perfect after all these years.

Just a fabulously complex Pinot with strong fruit softened by layer upon later. Nose suggests strawberries, almonds and a hint of California eucalyptus in the wind. Strong dark fruit with a long lingering finish. Just grab a glass and listen some classic rock and see what you taste. I wish every pinot were this complex.
